The
Khumbu Region of Nepal is the homeland of the Himalayan Sherpa
people and their fascinating Buddhist culture. Khumbu is the
Sherpa name for Everest Region. The trek begins at Lukla and
progresses slowly through the magical villages of Namche Bazaar
and Thyangboche, on up to Kala Pattar (18,400 ft) with its
majestic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse.
Itinerary:

Arrive Kathmandu (KTM), transfer to Vajra Hotel

Rest day in Kathmandu
Day 03
Fly to Lukla (9,350 ft), trek to Phakding
Day 04
Trek to Namache Bazaar (11,300 ft)
Day 05
Rest day in Namache Bazaar, optional day hike to
Thami Gompa
Day 06
Trek to Thyangboche (12,700 ft), visit gompa
Day 07
Trek to Dingboche (14,270 ft)
Day 08
Rest day in Dingboche, half day hike up Nangkartshang

cost includes 3 nights at the hotel in Kathmandu, round trip
airfare KTM - Lukla, all meals and accomodations on the trek,
park and monastery entrance fees, and airport transfers in KTM.
Not included are international airfare, meals in KTM, visa fees,
international airport departure taxes, trip insurance, tips for
the Sherpa guides, and items of a personal nature. We will be
